Resolved - An issue occurred with one node in our clustered application firewall. Automated failover to the standby node was attempted, however the cluster did not successfully route connections to the standby node. Engineers had to manually stop the problem node in order for the standby node to take effect, resolving the issue. Outage time- approx. 45 mins, exact time to be calculated later this morning.

Resolved - Connectivity has been restored. Engineers have determined that one of the Web Servers in the server farm stopped successfully making connections with the application tier, resulting in intermittent connection issues for recruiters and administrators. This has been resolved by temporarily removing this web server from the farm until a root cause can be determined. This outage has not impacted customer or candidate data and is isolated to a connectivity issue between the servers within the architecture stack..

Resolved - Access to Springboard has been restored. Our systems team have completed a restore of a clean build of the affected application onto new hardware and re-enabled access. Our internal teams have completed all go-live checks successfully. There is a possibility that some isolated modules or functionality may continue to experience issues. Investigating - We have identified an issue with one of our application servers which runs key elements of the Springboard application. Unfortunately, the issue is also replicated across our backup (Disaster Recovery) application server. To the best of our knowledge, candidate and customer data have not been compromised. Resolved - PeopleScout was alerted to issues accessing core areas of Springboard on Monday 5 Dec starting at approximately 8:30am AEST. Areas of Springboard identified as unreachable included: 1\.\)   Dashlets loading on the dashboard 2\.\)   Accessing candidates who have applied to a job 3\.\)   Accessing rules in the Rules engine On investigation, engineers identified that a sequence number which is used to track unique rows in database tables corresponding to ‘grids’ built in the system had exceeded the maximum number that can be stored in a specific variable type – 214,7635,725. Engineers determined that the coding issue was isolated to a single line in the system. A code patch was created at 10am AEST and tested in the QA environment at 10:35am AEST. The code patch was deployed to the Production environment at 10:52am and full access to the system was restored at this time.   Affected areas of the system – ‘grids’ – store derived data only to improve system performance when displaying data tables in Springboard. At no time were core transactional tables affected, and as such there was no risk to or loss of data resulting from this incident.   Whilst Springboard was technically reachable for the duration of the outage, PeopleScout is treating this incident as a full outage to recruiter / administrator access as it impacted core areas of the system..
